It is a real honor to be invited to walk alongside the leadership team of an organization during the days of a search. Likewise, it is an honor to walk alongside potential candidates as they explore all that is involved in taking a new role with a new organization. I take all this seriously.
Job fit is vitally important. It’s not just the big things that have to match up, but also the little things too.
People ask me if search work is hard. I suppose it is. But search work is a great fit for who I am and the gifts I have. If it’s hard, I don’t notice it. I’m too busy having a good time.
